Somalian soldiers who shot minister arrested

Two Somalian soldiers has been arrested in connection with the shooting of a Government minister.

The soldiers pleaded that it was a case of mistaking identity. The minister was killed yesterday in his official vehicle when the soldiers opened fire on his car believing that it was terrorists trying to attack them.

At age 31, the minister is the youngest in Somalia. He grew up in a Kenya refugee camp and has been a source of inspiration to the youths of the country. His death has brought much grief to Somalia.

Somalian president reported that the "Public works minister was patriotic and known for his ability and efficiency," and has cut short his visit from Ethiopia to attend his burial.
