IED hits Somalian troops battling AlShabaab

Five Somalian soldiers was wounded by a roadside IED which hit their patrol vehicle outside their military base in central Mogadishu.
According to local media in Somalia, the blast happened in about 30 clicks Southwest of Mogadishu the country's capital in a called Afgoye. The attack targeted SNA soldier on patrol in that area last Tuesday.

The roadside IED bombs have become common way of attack by the Islamist militant group Al-Shabaab.
An attack was carried out the day before but the attack was repulse by Somalian troops. Al-shabaab claimed responsibility for the attack. Kenyan authority confirmed the attack through a press release from their Defence Headquarters in Nairobi.

Kenyan and Somalian troops is currently battling the terrorist sect.
