Ruag to supply Ivorian army with combat simulators

Ruag Defence France, a subsidiary of Swiss holding company Ruag, will supply and install combat simulator systems for the Ivorian defence ministry. 

The deal was signed by the Ivorian Defence minister Tiéné Birahima Ouattara during the recently held Shield Africa 2021 defence exhibition.

RUAG Defence France, which specialize in simulation and training systems is based in Terssac in the department Tarn. It is a part of RUAG Simulation & Training SA, a business unit of the RUAG MRO International division, which belongs to the RUAG International Group.

The company’s SITTAL is a simulator for indoor shooting for training of small arms operators at the individual and collective levels. SITTAL simulator is widely used by for initial and refresher training for soldiers.
